Keystone's resort course is built on the site of a former lettuce farm and cattle ranch and still uses the original log homestead as its clubhouse. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Keystone Ranch's par-72 circuit winds through rolling hills and a nine-acre alpine lake, offering players a combination of links-style play and mountain valley-style play. Keystone is a short distance from top-rated links in Breckenridge and Silverthorne, including the world's only Jack Nicklaus-designed municipal course. Since its opening in 1985, the Breckenridge Golf Club has earned numerous national and regional honors, including Colorado Golfer's "Best Mountain Course" and "Toughest Mountain Course," along with Golf Digest's "4-Star Award" for municipal courses.

Plus, all ResortQuest guests receive special discount golf rates, preferred tee times and special advanced booking status at the Breckenridge Golf Club.

At this elevation the golf ball flies farther and straighter than at lower elevations, as there is less air resistance. The course has four sets of tees so that each golfer may select the challenge equal to their game. From the Nicklaus tees on the Elk-Beaver rotation, the course plays 7,145 yards and has a course rating of 73.5, with a slope rating of 151. This set of tees has the second most difficult course rating in the state and presents a challenge for even the best golfer. Each set of tees plays to a par 72.
