The popular Breckenridge trail ride takes horse and rider high into the mountains to an elevation of about 10,000 feet, providing a bird's eye view of the city of Breckenridge below. The winding trail is thickly forested and snakes through lively mountain streams and open meadows blanketed by wild flowers. The sunrise breakfast ride begins with a feast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, "Cowboy Coffee," hot chocolate and orange juice. The dinner ride includes a cowboy-style feast of steak, potatoes, beans, bread and that same strong coffee.
